Day 45

Today we woke up early so Mommy could get her check up with the Midwives. They all said I was very handsome and a beautiful baby! They also said that Mommy was looking great and has recovered just fine. And Robin, the Midwife that delivered me, wrote in her report that Mommy had a beautiful un-medicated delivery. Midwife Lisa said that Robin was very impressed with Mommy and that Robin is a tough person to impress.

Good Job Mommy! Thank you for choosing the natural and drug free route! I know it wasn't easy, but one look at me and you know it was all worth it!

After Mommy's check up, we walked to Volunteer Park. There was a super big tree that Daddy and I wanted to climb!

And there is the famous tire sculpture. I hear that Auntie Annie has to teach me the "real" way to pose for this picture!

And today we were surprised by Great Auntie Becky knocking at the door! She drove all the way from Denman Island in British Columbia Canada! She stopped by to sing to me and tell me stories.

She's on her way to Minnesota to go on a 28 day meditaion retreat with Mingyur Rinpoche. She won't be allowed to talk for the entire time! I think that would be an easy one for me, I don't even know how to talk yet. Does cooing count?
