Day 47

Today was another really nice day in Seattle; sunny and warm! After I woke up and ate this morning, Mommy tried to get the house picked up for our dinner guests. I guess breakfast wasn't very satisfing for me because I wanted lots of snacks all afternoon. I made it a little tricky for Mommy to get ready herself and kinda hard for her to pack my diaper bag too. Just as soon as we were all ready to go, I had to have one more snack. Mommy sat us down on the lazy boy for a quick nibble, but we both ended up drifting off to sleep. So we didn't get outside to enjoy the sunshine, but we had a fun day inside singing, eating and getting ready for dinner.
Daddy took a longer break at work and our friends Joe, Kristy, and Angela came over. We were having a going away party (except we didn't have any balloons) for Angela. She's moving to Vermont. Her hubby, Will, is already there working at Half Moon State Park.
For dinner we had a salad, pizza from Zaw and for desert Oreo brownies! We were all sad when Angela had to leave, she's driving all the way across the country with her dog Kodi. Mommy told to her we have family in the midwest and to call if she needs a place to stay; stay tuned family, you might be hosting our friend!
This is me with Mommy and Angela, they look like twins! Angela is growing my little friend in her belly, he (or she) will be ready to play in July! It might be a while before I get to play with you little baby, but I sure can't wait!
Safe travels Angela and give Will a hug for me!
After our friends left we decided to get out of the house after-all. Mommy packed me up in the carrier and we walked to the P-Patch. Not long after we got to the garden we got yelled at by some strange man with a flashlight. He yelled "I'm going to call the cops" and proceeded to walk toward us at our garden plot. Daddy got his phone out to call the cops too, because we didn't know who this loud man was. Daddy went to meet the man, I started to cry and Mommy did her best to keep me calm. After a quick conversation it turns out the man is a security guard at the building next to the garden and he also keeps an eye out for the p-patch. He said that he has caught people steeling and tagging the area with graffiti. Once he realized that we were only giving our garden a midnight drink and he heard me crying he appologized and left.
It has been so hot and sunny, our garden really needed a drink. After a good drink of water we took a quick nighttime family photo and headed back home.
I think that was our first and last time in the garden after dark!
