Today we went to the Fremont Summer Solstice parade! Although it felt more like the beginning of spring, we brought our raincoats, umbrellas and enjoyed the festivities! Daddy and John participated at the near by pub. Mommy and Laura and I enjoyed all the sights and sounds!
And oh boy there were some interesting sights!!!
After the parade we went out for lunch at Hale's Ale Pub and then went home to gear up for a very special night! John hung out with me while Mommy and Daddy geared up!
Tonight was my very first baseball game at the Mariners Safeco field. The extra special thing is that it was Cousin Laura's very first baseball game too!
We shared a hot-dog, cheered for the home team, got baseball cards, did the wave, saw an Ichiro home-run, and watched the Mariners beat the Cincinnati Reds, 5 to 1. Daddy told me that Felix Hernandez pitched a really great game! I think I'll be coming back to cheer for the Mariners this summer!
After the game Daddy, John and Jay went out for party time while Mommy and Laura took me home to go to bed.
