Day 97

This morning we all woke up early and got ready for our big trip to the Mid-West! Daddy went to work, Mommy cleaned and packed and I helped Mommy.

Joe came over to give us a ride to the airport and to help take this family picture in front of my Hebe. Look how big it has grown in 3 months, just like me! It is even growing purple flowers!!! (the ferns have really taken off too!)

We tried to make it to the airport 2 times before we had to turn around. Usually Mommy and Daddy have to stop for me, but this time it was Daddy. He forgot his water bottle first, so we went back home to get it. Then we got even further and he realized he forgot his shoes and so we had to go back home to get those too. Silly Daddy!!! Thanks Joe for all your help getting us ready and out of the house and taking us to the airport.

I had a really good time on the plane ride! I slept most of the way. There was a lady sitting across from Daddy reading a book, the chapter she was reading was called 'Oliver', so cool!

My Auntie Annie picked us up from the Minneapolis airport, she was super excited to see me and I was sooo happy to see her too! I wasn't so excited to sit in the car while we drove to Duluth and Aunite Annie wasn't so happy when we stopped 3 times on the way there because I was crying. Mommy doesn't like it when I'm stuck in the car seat crying, so we had to stop. After the third time I felt a little better and we made it to Bubbie's cabin after-all!

We were first greeted by Higgins, Bubbie's Dog, then Bubbie and Grandpa Dave, and I think Great Auntie Becky may have climbed down from the loft to say hello.

I can't wait for the (abbreviated) Shin Dig, I'm going to have sooo much fun meeting all my family, especially my lil'cousin Jackson!
