Day 139

Daddy had to get up and leave early to go to work. Anne woke up early too and got coffee for Mommy. I hung out on the floor, Anne worked on her trip stuff, and Mommy made french toast and fruit for breakfast. Anne had to leave after breakfast to visit other friends and then start her trip.
Daddy came home from work at noon and started helping Mommy pack for our camping trip and give me shower!
In two hours we were on the road! I had a nice nap and when I woke up Mommy had a bottle for me, so I ate on the go!
We did stop to stretch our legs and so that Daddy could take me rock climbing at Peshastin Pinnicales State Park.
When we got to Lake Chelan State Park, we met up with friends from Portland Tenneal, Trevor and their 1 year old daughter Cecilia, Rene, Tenneal's sister, and Tenneal and Trevor's friends from Everett Jen, Steve and their 3 year old daughter Bella and 1 year old son Cameron, and their doggy Lola.
After the tents were set up we went to the park and had fun on the playground! Mommy and I played teeter-totter with Daddy!
Mommy and Daddy took me down a big slide too!
Steve and Jen made dinner, Mommy made s'mores for desert! I was so excited to go camping again and we were so lucky there was a meteor shower Perseids. We saw so many shooting stars. Daddy even helped identify constellations and asterisms with help from his telephone! Mommy's favorite asterisms is the Big Dipper. It is part of the Great Bear (Ursa Major) constellation. Whenever we are outside at night, she always looks for it and show it to me!

While Mommy was sitting around the campfire with everyone looking up at the stars, a bug landed in her eye. It was a stink bug! She swatted it out, but that made the bug go poopy on her eyeball. She kinda freaked out and started laughing and crying all at once trying to get the stink out of her eye. When Daddy smelled it he sort of gagged. She tried really hard to have her eye stop smelling, but it stayed there for a while.

In the evening our camping neighbors came in and set up their tent too. They were an Indian family that reminded Mommy and Daddy of their trip to India. The family made good smelling food and played funky music. And they stayed up way later than my Mommy and Daddy!
