Today Daddy got up early and made tasty eggs and toast for Mommy. He then quickly packed his backpack full of climbing gear, made a lunch, and headed out to go rock climbing with his friends Stephen and Tom and his two little boys. Mommy and I stayed home and got ready for Knit Night, the girls were coming over at 5:30.
We did lots of laundry, vacuumed, dusted, and made enchiladas. We even walked to the store to get sour cream and a red pepper. When Daphne and Martine came over, they brought Mommy and Daddy a wedding gift, a beautiful hand knitted tablecloth and napkins.
Mommy says that it is to precious, and white, to use, but Daphne and Martine reassured her that it is washable and meant to be used!
Later the rest of the girls showed up, Melissa, Angie, and Emily. We all had a really fun time knitting and eating and hanging out. Here's the knitting gang!
The next time we all get together for another Knit Night, it will be with two of my little friends!!!
