Day 116

Bubbie came in our room this morning just as we were waking up. She said that we should hurry up and go to the farmers market. Little did she know that 'hurry' doesn’t really work with Mommy and Me, and that we still had to get “up”!

Great Auntie B soon woke up too. We had planned to get to Bubbie’s cabin in the morning, but the morning kept slipping away. Auntie Annie came over and got the group moving. We said goodbye to Higgins and Grandpa Dave, they had to stay behind and work.

After Mommy filled her water bottle and packed my last toy we hopped in Auntie Annie’s car and headed up north! I slept for a while and we made a nice stop at a half way rest stop. We had snacks, stretched out, and Auntie Annie did push-ups and sit-ups.

We got to Bubbie’s cabin, the Sugar Shack, around 3’oclock and it was so hot inside. Mommy and I went around and opened all the windows to help cool it down. Auntie Annie played with me while Mommy unpacked the car. Not long after, Bubbie and Great Auntie B arrived. Let the FUN begin!!

We brought in more suitcases and lots of food! We enjoyed watching the moon come out and later Mommy and Auntie Annie made a bon-fire! We tried to make smore’s but the only graham crackers Bubbie had were cinnamon flavor from the year 2002!! So we just roasted the marshmallows instead!

The mosquitoes were getting pretty bad so just after the sun set, we went back into the Sugar Shack and not long after, we went to bed!
