Day 117

Today I slept in a little bit, but I still woke up earlier than Bubbie! Mommy dropped me off up in her bedroom to wake her up and we talked and played in her big bed! Later Bubbie made breakfast and Great Auntie B mashed bananas for banana bread! We were all going to go on a walk around the lake, but between Auntie Annie napping, me trying to nap and the banana bread in the oven, we didn’t make it out. Mommy and Auntie Annie did go swimming (to take a bath), Great Auntie B went on a short hike, and Bubbie pushed me in the pram up and down the long drive way.

We had visitors at the Sugar Shack too! Great Grammie, Great Bapa, and Great Aunt Jane came for a little while. Grammie brought an apple pie and Auntie Annie and Auntie Jane went swimming! Soon they all left to go to Great Auntie Jane’s cabin in Canada.

I didn’t nap much at all today. Mommy swaddled me or 'put me in a noodle' as Bubbie calls it, but that didn't last too long either. I really enjoyed power napping after all my snacks!

It’s so fun being at Bubbie’s cabin. I get so much special attention from everyone! And every time Mommy goes to change my diaper she makes an announcement that sends Bubbie and Great Auntie B into giggles, they have never heard of a baby being changed so often!

After dinner Great Auntie B was showing me a healthy dessert choice, instead of rootbeer floats, that everyone else had, I would have had a peach!
