Day 127

I didn't sleep quite right last night. From all my awesome naps yesterday I just cat napped all night long, oops-sorry Mommy! But I did sleep, here's the proof!
When we all woke up Daddy got up and made breakfast again. Mommy and I went on short hike down to the Hoh River while Daddy packed up our camp site. Then we all went on a morning hike another Hoh trail.
Only a couple feet onto the trail and we were stopped by a herd of Roosevelt Elk. They were having breakfast just off the creek in the forest. There were babies, mamas and big daddies with antlers. We watched them for a while and then carefully continued on our hike.
Ranger Roger told us about nurse logs yesterday so we found a big one and I did just that, nursed.
On our way back we saw a Hairy Woodpecker jump around and peck peck peck for food. And we saw that the Elk were still eating too.
When we were done with our hike, we loaded up in the wago and said goodbye to the Hoh Rain Forest and headed back home. We made a few stops before we got home though.

The first stop was at Second Beach, I got to see the Pacific Ocean!
We stopped a few more time for my diaper changes and snacks. Then we drove into Tacoma so that I could meet the Seberson Tacoma Clan; my Great Uncle Steve, Great Aunt Stephanie, Cousin Peter, and Cousin Olivia. (Cousin Brittany was working so I missed out on meeting her.)

We were just going to stop by to say hello, but we ended up staying for dinner too! And Olivia made a super yummy freshly picked blackberry pie!
I had fun meeting my family and getting cuddles from everyone! Cousin Peter thought my hands were so cute and tiny! We said goodbye and continued home. Once we arrived I was ready for bed, and so was Mommy and Daddy. It was a long trip but totally worth it!! I can't wait until I get to go to the rain forest again!!!!
