Mommy and Daddy woke up at 5:30 in the morning and I had to get up a little bit after them. We got dressed, ate, packed the wago and headed to the harbor to hop on the Victoria Clipper. We were going on a backpacking trip to Canada!
The boat ride was fun! A nice lady played with me and showed me her story book, I got to tour the boat, and we went outside while the boat was going 30 knots, that's almost 35 miles an hour!
In less than 3 hours we arrived in Canada on Vancouver Island! We went through customs, rented a car, had lunch at Spinnakers, got some food at the grocery store, loaded up our packs, made it to the Juan de Fuca Provincial Park Mystic Beach trail head, and hit the trail!
Just a few minutes into our hike, I lost my boot. Mommy took her pack of and backtracked while Daddy and I kept on moving. Luckily I didn't drop it so far back, she caught up with us quickly.
Also on our hike we saw lots of mushrooms and slugs! We even got to cross a suspension bridge! Good thing I didn't drop my boot here!
The sunset was amazing and went on forever!
As the sun was setting we all got ready for bed and hopped in our tent and cozied in for the night!
