Today we went out and searched for a Christmas tree. On our way we stopped at the North Seattle Community College to pick up our Jingle Bell Dash t-shirts. We ended up at the Tree Farm. Mommy made sure we got the very best tree and thanks to Grandma and Daddy, we did get the best tree!
After the long search Grandma and Daddy chopped down the tree and I held it steady on the sled!
Grandpa was at home waiting for us and helped me get our tree into the perfect position while Daddy secured it in place!
We didn't have time for decorations tonight because we had to rush out to walk, in the rain, all the way around the Green Lake Pathway of Lights!
Grandma only counted 25 luminaries. There were supposed to be over 2000, but the raindrops put all the candles out. There were canoes and rowboats all lite up in the lake. It was a cold wet night, but it was good training for our big day tomorrow, the Jingle Bell Dash!
