Day 260

Today is the Jingle Bell Dash, a 5K run/walk for Arthritis. I was really looking forward to running with Grandpa, but he had to leave really early in the morning and go to the airport and fly to Wisconsin for work. Let's try again next year Grandpa!
We almost didn't even go ourselves. Mommy was really slow to get going this morning and we let Daddy sleep in and it was cold and rainy. At the last minute we grabbed our gear and jumped in the Wago. Daddy dropped us off at the start of the race two minutes before the Dash began.
I was going to dress up like Santa and have my stroller look like his sleigh, but we lost the raincover to my storller last night at Green Lake, and it is really wet out. So Mommy put me in the ergo and carried a giant umbrella. Grandma and Mommy put on their elf hats that Grandma made and away we went!
Daddy had to go park the car so he actually ran the race backwards and met us at the halfway mark!

Just before the finish line we stopped to 'hear' the crowd cheer for the elves!

After the run, we went to the Treehouse to watch football. Grandma and Daddy cheer for the same team- Go Packers! And I got to sit at the table and eat lunch too!

We were all really tired from the big day of events so when it was time for bed Daddy and I went right to sleep!
