Day 272

Daddy woke up early today and jumped on a bus to go downtown. He went to Macy's and waited in line so that I could get my picture taken with one of Santa's Helpers! Mommy and Bubbie and I drove down and met him for the pictures.

Although he wasn't the real Santa, I still thought he was a little scary! Good thing Bubbie was there to take my mind off of the hairy guy in the red suite, we had fun pretending to be toy soldiers!

After Santa pictures Auntie Annie and Jason met us and I got to go on a carousel ride!

When we got home I changed into my Santa outfit and walked to the grocery store with Mommy, Daddy and Bubbie! Everyone at the store thought I was so cute. One man even asked to take a picture of me. I thought it was fine, it was just like being one of Santa's Helpers! Instead of people coming to me, I roamed around the store and I brought smiles to everyones face! We walked home in the rain and when we got back I changed into Daddy's Elf hat. I was helping get out my Great Great Grandma Seberson's special Christmas dishes. Mommy said that we get to use them for the holidays and could use them for Christmas Eve dinner!

Uncle Tim, Auntie Annie and Jason joined us for dinner, Bubbie made a delicious lasagna!
After dinner I was allowed to open up one Christmas gift. I went for the biggest box I could find. The wrapping paper was so much fun to play with! When all of the paper was off I saw that the giant box was a huge train set! Thank you Bubbie!

After I got to play with the train set for a while with Daddy, it was time for bed. Before we went to sleep Daddy helped me set out cookies and milk for Santa and a carrot for his reindeer!
